Late Night Ramblings

It's 1 in the morning here right now, and I'm still up working on this website.
I wanted to prove to myself that I could make a lasting website back in 2015 when I built
Acid Trip, and it's almost been 10 years since then. My artwork never had a home that I
actively built with my own two hands. I want to rectify that; to have somewhere
permanent that I can add onto and continue building on for years to come.

This modern internet is so bland and boring to me these days...
I miss the days where everything online was spread out across various web rings.
I'm going to try to jump into a few web rings if I can. I also want to create
artwork that other people can use on their websites, just like some of my favorite
websites back in the day did. I'm hoping to get a working Oekaki board going but
we will see if my skillset is up to par. Sometimes I get ahead of my skill level
with various ideas regarding websites. I still haven't forgotten about building that
Neopet-esque website someday...

Ah well. Here's to making something special and unique in an online landscape that
calls for same and ordinary. Take me back to pre-social media internet days, please.
Anyone remember Kazaa??
