Greatest Achievement in Pokemon EVER!!!!

Originally posted on deviantart: Okay, so I've been playing Pokemon Soul Silver recently on a new save file, and got to Morty, whom is the Ghost gym leader.
He had a level 25 Gengar with the moves Mean Look, Hypnosis, Sucker Punch, and Shadow Ball.

I went in with a level 23 Scyther (with the dark type move Pursuit), a level 18 Hoothoot, and a level 3 Sentret (with the water type move surf).
These are the only guys on the team worth mentioning for this story.

Gengar kept nearly KOing my Scyther, so I tried switching through my team some. I ended up with Hoothoot.

Gengar used all his Sucker Punches on Hoothoot. I had delayed healing Scyther, so to stall, I sent out the level 3 Sentret. I intended to just use her for a moment while I healed,
but then Gengar used Mean Look, so I couldn't switch out, and had to wait for her to faint.

....Gengar couldn't TOUCH HER!!!

That little level 3 Sentret (Whom is normal type, and Ghost type Pokemon and Ghost type moves can't touch Normal type Pokemon) lasted until Gengar was in the orange!
Made Gengar use up ALL his moves, until he was stuck with nothing but Struggle! Only THEN, did Sentret faint, and then Scyther came back out and sweeped the FLOOR with Morty's team!

A LEVEL 3 SENTRET FREAKING BEAT MORTY THE GHOST TYPE GYM LEADER!!
I was BEYOND floored! And this was a complete and total accident! I grew so much love for that little Sentret!
She has earned a permanent place on my Pokemon team. There is no way I could box her after that. That was beyond amazing.
I can officially say that my Sentret is the best Sentret in the world! XD
